REM, Frequency Festival, Salzburg 2008

A few of my friends didn't like this set because Michael Stipe wasn't particularly charismatic on stage and spent most of the time looking into their tour camera. I didn't mind really because I thought 'hell, it's REM!' and they sounded fab. I thought they were a funny band to end the night on though.

Flogging Molly, Frequency Festival, Salzburg 2008

These guys did not look how I expected. From listening to them on CD I was expecting a punk with a mohawk fronting the band, not a Chris Evans lookalike! I ended up having to move to the far side of the arena because I got dragged into the mosh pit and fell over. Luckerly a lovely Austrian man saved me and my friend by dragging us up off the floor by our collars and bundling us out to safety before running back into it! Thank you mosh man!

Travis at Frequency Festival, Salzburg 2008

Much to my suprise, Travis were AWESOME! I love them on CD but I had a feeling their set would be dead boring but it wasn't. They were really nice to the audience and got us shouting 'Klaus Klaus Klaus' at their new pianist which could be classed as bullying but I don't think he minded.

McFly, Thetford Forest 2008

This was my third McFly gig. I bloody love them. I couldn't get any closer because I would have ended up getting crushed by the millions of screaming girls. They were very entertaining and played us a lot of their new album, Radio:active, much to my sister's annoyance because she couldn't sing along.
